I’m very very tempted to use this card as an emergency fund. 0% for 6 months, wow. This is unbelieveable compared to what Deutsche Bank was offering me as a line of credit!

Sorry, have to clarify this. It is only for the First 6 months from the issue of the card. After that, from the 7th month it is the normal card with the normal billing cycle. So may not really be what you are looking for.

If you are considering some big purchases (TV, Kitchen etc), applying for this makes sense. Make the purchase after you get the card, you get an interest free 6 month period. Would be useful say for for someone moving in to a new apartment.

Ahh, thanks for the clarification. Looks like I’ll sign up for the Advanzia card then. If I ever buy an apartment that requires renovations, opening this card will be on my radar. 🙂
